Energy audit

Audit

The energy diagnosis (or energy audit) consists of a series of analyses, inspections and systematic measurements meant to provide rigorous knowledge on the energy consumption profile of the operations, services and technological systems that fall within the scope and range of the diagnosis.

The diagnosis is carried out in order to draw an accurate outline of the energy performance of the operations, of the specific single departments, of the production cycles, of individual operations and to reliably identify the most significant energy savings opportunity.

Te Legislative Decree no. 102 of 4 July 2014 on implementation of the EU 27/2012 Directive on energy efficiency, introduced the obligation for the large companies as well as for the small and medium-sized companies consuming large amounts of energy to perform an energy audit by 5/12/2015 and subsequently every 4 years.

We, at Q Energy Srl, are able to satisfy this type of requests of our business clients, inasmuch as the analysis may only be carried out by three types of certified entities: Energy Service Companies (ESCo), Energy Management Experts (EME) and Energy Auditors.

The consultancy activities shall be supplied in accordance with Q Energy's Quality Management System, ISO 9001:2015 certified as per certification no. 50466 issued by SQS and UNI CEI 11352:2014 certified as per certificate no. 26233 issued by CERTIQUALITY srl.

Energy Efficiency Certificates (EECs)

As a certified Energy Service Company (E.S.Co.), Q-Energy can interact with the energy services operator (GSE) for the release of Energy Efficiency Certificates (EECs), otherwise known as ''white certificates''.

EECs are negotiable titles certifying the energy savings attained by a certain entity by carrying out interventions targeted at enhancing its own energy efficiency, and every certificate is worth on tonne of oil equivalent (TOE) saved.

These certificates act as economic incentives rewarding the entities that commit to improve their own energy consumption, reducing, therefore, the environmental impact.
